Remember the Titans, Teamwork and You!

A productive team has players that share common goals, a common vision and have some level of interdependence that requires both verbal and physical interaction. Teams come into existence through shared attitudes about a particular sport. They may come together for a number of different reasons, but their goals are the same - to achieve peak performance and experience success. The ends may differ but the means by which one gets there is the same - teamwork. Every member of the team is accountable when it comes to teamwork.

  1. 1. The most difficult aspect is making sure to chose the good of the team over whats easiest or best for yourself.
    2. The best team i've ever played for was in fourth grade i was on a football team that had almost all my friends on it and we were able to succeed frequently because of our natural chemistry.
    3. I believe that I'm a decent team player there are times were i will just give up of course but in general i'd like to think I'm looking out for my team mates.

  2. 1. Defiantly putting the team over yourself and making sure you all get along and try your best.

2.I don't really remember but in 5th grade I remember my basketball team made it to the championship game but I didn't attend that game because of family issues. To this day i still have no idea if we won/lost that game. We played good defense and teamwork is the number one thing. Being around my teammates made me feel proud.

    3. I wasn't the superstar of the team because i remember always passing the ball to this abnormally tall Caucasian who was like 5 feet in 5th grade. I don't think i was bad but I was not the best.

  3. 1. I think the most difficult aspect of playing for a team is involving everyone and not trying to do everything yourself

    2. The best team i have ever played for would have to be varsity fremd football my freshman year. We had an insane amount of talent that year. Our record didn't show it but by the end of the season we won 4 consecutive games to make playoffs and almost beat one of the best teams in the state in the 2nd round. I enjoyed just watching all the division 1 athletes play and enjoyed kicking field goals.

    3. I would describe myself as a pretty good team member. I always try to do my best to help the team as much as possible no matter what.

  4. 1. I think that the most challenging part of playing for a team is that you have to put the team before yourself and not be selfish not matter what, even if you want to be the star.

    2. The best team that i ever played for was my football team my sophomore year because everyone cared for one an other and no one was above anyone and we played as if we where brothers that is why we where so successful. I loved playing for the team, it makes me wish that i was playing on the field today putting my self on the line just trying to get a W
    3. I never put myself in front of anyone, I always try to make whats best for the team and not me. I am a good team member because I can see the big picture and not my own small one that we all try to paint our self's.

  5. 1. Well for football one of the hardest things for instance is that if one person doesn't fulfill their duty thee whole team does too.
    2. Definitely this past season even though I didn't start every game I loved every moment of it because we were so united together and we so much stuff to overcome we weren't as successful as I wanted for us to be but we did a lot better then where people though we were gonna do.
    3. I think I'm very supportive but not a kiss ass ad I really do all I can for a team I care about.

  6. 1. I think the most difficult aspect of playing for a team is everyone's egos. You all have to be able to to play together if you want to win together.

    2. When I was on the Rolling Thunder club volleyball 18s team. I was 15 at the time and was placed on one of the best teams. We played really well together and thats why I think we were so successful. And we played so well together because we were all friends, not just teammates. Playing 5 days a week with my best friends was fun.

    3. Honestly i could be really stubborn if i wasnt starting or the girl in my position was sucking and i still wasnt playing. Though i still always cheered on my team. I mean im not going to "boo" my friends.
